.495 PT% ---> .451 PT% ---> .518 PT% ---> .524 PT%
The team has been touted as a young team, but age alone should be showing them with some positive results in performance. Beyond that, I think Burke has added pieces each year that should make the team better. Those are some pretty horrific point percentages for a team that is backing its coach.

I share the opinion of a few that a team/coach is only as good as it's goalie. And while Burke has certainly added pieces to improve the team, it hasn't really happened between the pipes. I'd ditch Wilson if the team doesn't make the playoffs just because I think his time is up, but I don't think we'll see much improvement unless our goaltending situation is fixed.

Much as Wilson bugs me, there's a lot of truth in this.

You want to blame the Goalies go right ahead. Yes both let in the odd bad one. But 30 millions dollars on a defense that makes pee wee mistakes every game is why we are losing. I blame that on coaching.

I couldn't agree more, we've had defensive problems for a decade now, and the amount we have spent on the D right now and they are playing this poorly, is pathetic. I am getting tired of seeing this team suck and not improving, just when you think they are, they take a step back.
The players are watching you guys on Sports....umm Sports Channel and TSN.

If it works with Marlies why the hell not with the Leafs. It is there, just apply the system with the Leafs.

The Marlies also have the top PK in the AHL ...

But don't you know? The Leafs have to run and gun to entertain the fans that come to the games. If not, they won't buy tickets. Burke has said many times that "we're in the entertainment business". Maybe so but they're certainly not in the winning business.
For those with their sarcasm meter broken, I'm not advocating TB 1-3-1
or New Jersey under Lemaire but I am advocating some kind
of defensive system.
Right now our defensive system consists of following the refs to centre ice
after another goal.

Owuya`s had great numbers in the ECHL too, where Rynnas posted bad ones. Their PK has a symbiotic relationship with good goaltending.

You`re honestly advocating that the team plays a style for the purposes of entertaining and not winning.... wow.
