Considering what his businesses do and everything this guy basically just had to do nothing in public and would be much admired and fantastically wealthy. Instead of that, though, he seems to have made it his 24/7 job to be as unlikeable as possible.

I think it's more like, power enables you to be your true self without much consequence; the people who tend to accumulate this much power already are, and continue to be molded into sociopaths.

It's a complete shit show. Trump used to do this all the time in terms of manipulating stock prices by making unfounded disparaging comments. It's shocking that the SEC allows this kind of behaviour.

Is Musk working as the CEO of Tesla directly from their corporate office?  No.  Yeah, then STFU.

EV is a growing field.  Tesla already has a reputation for grinding down their employees.  A lot of the engineering/chemist hires stay for a few years and leave for better jobs.m
