I would argue that they are getting beat because their defence are flatfooted. At least in those two videos.

You've seen glimpses of it where they try to stretch defenses out, but you do not see a lot of rush chances created by the Leafs. At least not by the top 6. Everything is slow and methodical. The good thing is they have the talent and speed to switch to a run and gun offense, I just don't know that they have the appetite.
