I know it's hard to do but you have to give Ottawa credit, they haven't given up more than a handful of high-danger chances. There are no easy series in the playoffs.
 
The first period was good....but hard to believe they went into 3rd w 10 shots.

This was a game for Pacioretty....not Robertson.

You can surely give them credit while also lamenting the effort put forward by the leafs. They have been out worked at every level since half way through the first. They haven’t matched the intensity needed, which has been their issue for many years.
 
Outplayed both games but have a chance to go up 2-0. Come out and take it to them. I was going to post before the game whoever won tonight was going to win the series and I’ll stick to that.

I agree. But at the same time you can't maintain a white-hot pace like they were able to come out of the gate with in both games. They need to find some kind of level that is more intense than tonight, yet sustainable.
