They'll probably lose Matthews for nothing just like Mitch. Trading Cowan for Kadri another mistake if it ever happened. We have nothing absolutely nothing anywhere that is a sure fire player, no stars etc, minimal drafts no 1st rounder till 2028. I don't want to sound so pessimistic but it's the truth.

Doesn't matter what I think. As they're built/playing now, no but things can change. Team is literally missing Marner, Nylander, Laughton, Tanev and Woll.

It won't happen. It's rare they trade roster players and Cowan isn't going anywhere.
 
I'm watching the Jays. Just keeping up with score and on here. I'm more disappointed in Matthews more than anyone. Couple years ago I said he could be right up there with McD and Mack as far as talent and carrying a team but for being the 2nd highest paid player in the league he's been crap.
 
I've kinda liked Robertson's game tonight. He's actually been pretty creative. He's going to look good on another team..oh and a beauty setup by Robertson.

It wouldn't be a mistake if they won a Cup. Face it, keeping Cowan isn't going to make any difference when this all blows up. He's not a franchise type player. And they probably will lose Matthews for nothing but that's a concern for another day.

That's one of the things that pisses me off about today's coaches. The stars are pampered. Guys making huge money dogging it some nights and thrown out there on every PP etc meanwhile guys that do work hard get nothing.
