-After missing training camp and the start of the season with a knee injury the ageless Corey Perry is off to a scorching hot start to his Kings era with 7 goals and 11 points in 11 games

-Anthony Stolarz will likely start for the Leafs
-Toronto extended their losing streak to 3 games on Tuesday in a game that saw both Matthews and Stolarz exit with injuries. The Leafs did not practice on Wednesday and there hasn't been an official update on either player, although Berube's comments post-game seemed to indicate that at least Stolarz's injury wasn't serious
-One possible player move to keep an eye on: Easton Cowan was not in the line-up for the Marlies afternoon game on Wednesday which might indicate that the Leafs are considering calling him back up

The lineup is so bad that the Leafs probably win 5-1 because that's the Leaf thing to do.

But honestly, I don't think this is the typical Leafs anymore. I'm glad that Myers is finally getting scratched but honestly a guy like Rielly or Carlo needs a kick in the ass too.
 
Definitely going to tune in for the start of this one to see how they respond without Mattews. Whether I make it through the whole game remains to be seen.

Woll had no training camp. He needs to get reps in, and doing it at the NHL level makes no sense.

Woll played a full game (plus a minute of OT) just yesterday, so giving him a B2B here probably wasn't the plan but let's hope we see him Saturday against Connor Bedard and friends

He didn't get a training camp. He's on a conditioning stint. The last thing we need is Woll's groin exploding when he faces 9 odd man rushes through the first 30 minutes of the game.
