GMillerTSN: Min/Buf trade: Sabres send Jason Pominville and a 4th in '14 to the Wild for Johan Larsson, Matt Hackett a 1st in '13 and a 2nd in '14.

Feels like an overpayment for Pominville to me.

Compared to the others traded today he is still in his prime, captain of the team, scoring in avg. 20-25 goals and 60-70 pts over last 6 seasons. I mean he is pretty good player, 456 pts in 578 games for Buffalo. One more year left of his current contract. Cap hit 5,3M is quite high, though.
 
A late one filtered through -- Martin Erat and Michael Latta to Washington for Filip Forsberg (was the 11th overall pick this past draft).

What in the worst is Washington thinking?!  Erat illicits that?!
