Fair enough. I just thought the way you presented Hosmer's aggregate playoff stats you were thinking big picture.
Anyways, Perez batted .364 in the World Series, while Hosmer hit .190 (.846 vs. .478 OPS). Perez's hit also led to the championship run. Hosmer was the catalyst, while Perez was the glue. I grew a greater appreciation for Perez these playoffs. He's a vacuum behind the plate and does a great job controlling the game.
