Based on the comparables, it seems likely that he'll come in at around the $1mil mark.
As you'd see in the article though, there aren't really very many comparable players. Guys who score as little as Marincin does don't generally stay in the league very often. And they certainly don't generally get paid much in their contracts. I've brought this up before but I'd be perfectly fine trying to see him to a 4-year deal at something like $1.5mil. Even with the recent rise of analytical-friendly GMs in the league, guys like Marincin still aren't really getting paid what they're worth. It'd be smart to get him locked in now before that might change.
It also touches on the fact though that it's almost guaranteed that Marincin or Carrick will be exposed in the upcoming expansion draft. That'll be a bummer.
