Missed the boat on Stanley Cup Champion Ronald Martin Hainsey.

The only defenceman under the age of 24 on the Ducks is 21-year old Jacob Larsson, and if MDZ is playing then it's his spot that he'll be taking. So weird way to frame a trade *shrugs*

Is MDZ still decent? Should we have tried for him? Seems fairly cheap though so thinking he's poopy now?

This seems like a fantastic trade for Carolina. I always liked Nino, but his cap hit made him impossible to fit here.

Niederreiter is a possession beast but isn't scoring much this season, so pretty much a perfect fit for Carolina.

I recall wanting Nino in a potential Kessel deal with Minnesota back when we were trading Kessel.
