2024-25 NHL Thread

I have no clue how many games a guy will get and for what.

I am still mad that Bennett keeps injuring guys via sucker punches and gets a $5K fine.

Nashville has lost their last 6 games in a row...just previous to those 6 games, they had won their last 5.

I don't really understand that team, but I'd bet on the chemistry just not getting sorted out.

Edmonton lost 6-3 against Philly but Klingberg put up 1G1A. That's his first two points since coming back and he's a +3 on 6 games.

Nice to see him have a rebound. Too bad we don't get to benefit after basically funding his rehab

Winnipeg has been a great story this year, and they've won their last 9 games...running away with the Western Conference.

Interestingly, both Scheifele and Valardi, who are 2nd and 3rd respectively in goals for the team (behind Connor), have S% of 25.0% and 24.1% respectively.

Going to be a bad time in Winnipeg when those shooting percentages start to regress (likely in the playoffs).

So since Jan 1 2025, here are your top 6 teams in terms of P%:

Washington - .800
Winnipeg - .789
Detroit - .750
Dallas - .738
NYR - .643
Toronto - .632

I guess NYR was due for some sort of rebound given the talent on that team, but what a job McLellan is doing in Detroit.
