And in summation......

Argos don't count, we are talking about professional sports, not semi-pro. I don't mean that as a slight against CFL fans either.

Agreed Argo's do not count... 5 or 6 team league?

Does that mean none of the Leafs Stanley Cup victories count either then?

In summation...from Commander Hadfield...

Ever the diehard Leafs fan, Hadfield added that he's proud of the way his team played this year and he's looking forward to next season.

"I am so proud of how the Leafs did this year," he said. "They played really good hockey, entertaining hockey, motivated and creative hockey."

Excellent article analyzing the Leafs Game 7 collapse:  Lack of experience a.k.a. the finishing touch;  improper late period game strategy (they had O shots in the last 11 minutes of play --no attack);  outsized in the defence/goal area (failing to do whatever it takes to keep out the opposition's oversized players from creating a front-of-net distraction).

Good article, and I agree with all of it. One thing that isn't mentioned, that I think was a factor in the loss, were the back to back games (game 6 & 7). The Leafs poured their hearts out in game 6 to pull out the win, and then again the next night for most of game 7. I think they were completely out of gas when the meltdown started in the third.
