The defensive effort has been very obvious recently. Execution isn't always there, but at least he's trying. I'd say the whole team seems to be improving in the dzone, at least coverage wise. There is some extended dzone time and cycling against the Leafs but they are doing a pretty good job keeping things outside.Guilt Trip said:It was a very good play defensively. I find the Leafs aren't chasing like they used to in their zone. All of them have to tighten up on the careless giveaways into the slot, though. Seem to be a few of those every game.
