Pulling Berra is hilarious, he's made some amazing saves.

And only for a few minutes, as Roy is gonna play with his net empty for basically the rest of the game.

Kadri with the hat trick in response.

Seriously...I just looked at the standings and Edmonton is last again.  How can an organization be this bad with repeated top picks.

I don't think they can be for long, but it's already been a while. One of these seasons, maybe even this one when McDavid comes back, they are going to light up the league.

I felt bad leaving Reimer off the MoTM thread tonight, so just wanted to point out he was great tonight. Especially before the team made things a blow-out. He looked very comfortable in the net.

How are these no-talent bums doing it?

On the backs of some unsustainable goaltending.

Well that remains to be seen, I guess. Much like my prediction that Babcock would be a difference maker, regardless of the players he had to work with.  ;D

jonasTSN1050: James Reimer now 5-1-2 with a .949 save percentage in his last eight starts.

That's an unsustainable save percentage. That doesn't need to remain to be seen. If, by some miracle, Reimer kept that up for a full season, he would destroy a number of goaltending records.

Holland needs to show he can do this 5v5.

Grabner(71%)-Holland-(73%)-Boyes(81%) All had a great night 5v5, it was weird that they didn't get more ice time, by far our best on the night in terms of tilting the ice the other way.

Those stats may be unsustainable, but I don't think even you could deny the fact that Babcock has had a pretty substantial impact on the play of this 'talentless' group of players. Or maybe you can.

That's a bit of an oversimplification.

PP and PK have been much improved this month too.

Good special teams and around .920 Sv% goaltending will see them outside of the bottom five till they start shedding pieces.  :P

In all seriousness, they need to improve on their possession numbers a little too, granted they've played some good teams lately, but they have been slipping and that doesn't bode well.
