Doesn't the goal burn two minutes off the penalty?

Yeah, I don't get how that worked. (edit: as others have said, we were on a PP of course already)

Also, time for my regularly scheduled "extra 2 minutes for drawing blood is completely asinine" comment.

I think the puck over the glass penalty is worse.

I'd disagree only because I do think that throwing the puck over the glass should be penalized in some way, but it should be treated like icings not given 2 minutes.

Drawing blood is a completely random occurrence.

Ya that would make sense. But too often guys do it by accident and the punishment for that is the same as the punishment for checking a guy from behind.

You know when you suck it seems like you run into some hot goalies a lot, but the reality is your team has little finish.

Recently they've run into Miller, Johnson, Dubnyk, Ward and Varlamov who have all been scorching and they've ruined some pretty good outings by this talented Leafs team.

I still think they're better than the standings reflect for now.

I agree and once this team matures some the goals will start to go in. In the mean time you have to admit this is a fun team to watch.

I think the best way they can add offense at this point is upgrades on the back end. Gardiner is separating himself as the best offensive D man on the team; and probably the best overall - and ideally, he's a #3.
