Is it wrong that I find this a little funny?

Not just getting tuned by the Blue Jackets, but the reactions on here too.

I'm not a big fan of Carlyle, but he's not wearing skates.  Their needs to be some accountability demanded of players from players.

This isn't a one time thing. There should be accountability from the coach too, the players get their ice time reduced or are scratched, etc. What's Carlyles accountability? He gets to ride hot goaltending.

Can't fire the team.

My theory is: You can't win 'em all.

Clearly they took a banged-up, terrible Blue Jackets team lightly and they're paying for it. And they've gotten a rare below-average goaltending performance.

This would be true if this was a rare off night, but, really, it's just a slightly worse version of the hockey they've played in the majority of their games this season.

Remind me again why Fraser is on this team?

Reimer looks a little lost as well

He's having an off-night. (Reimer, that is)

I feel as though the team is teetering on the brink of falling apart on most nights, unless they get stellar goaltending to bail them out.

Also, to change things up, the offense does not look good right now. A few big names aren't having particularly good seasons.

Reimer is only having an off-night by Reimer standards.

This is the stuff these goalies have been putting up with all year.

I'm flying 3500 miles in less than 2 weeks to see these guys play Boston. If they put a performance like this in I'll be visiting Carlyle after the game and demanding a refund! ;D

Not going to comment until I've reviewed the board policy on excessive profanity.

I'm happy to see that, cause I really hate editing out all the bad words. Suggestion?: use &*#@$&@#$%#%$ etc    O;-)

Of course, but where's the leadership, the pride on the ice?  If I were wearing a letter I'd be busting my ass out there just out of embarrassment.

Apologies - I thought there'd be some kind of filter in place  :-[

Didn't these guys lose to the Oilers 7-0. What does that tell you. Piss poor effort most nights. Reimer and Bernier have shown up all year game in game out other than that not many more. What they said at the beginning of the game and are talking about now regarding the Columbus injuries is proof how bad this team is defensively.

Nonis should be taking some blame for the poor defensive play in my opinion. He added no proven defenders to the roster this off season.

s'ok. One of the worst pottymouths is an admin here???.

Team struggling to get things going? Put out the 4th line on a defensive zone draw so they can get hemmed in for the entire shift. Who needs to change momentum when things are already going perfectly?

I can live with poor defensive play if they're great offensively. But now they are neither good offensively (16 goals last 9.5 games) not defensively.

Every damn time.

Next move:

Orr on the wing with Kadri

I mean, I understand the thinking - a good physical shift can sometimes swing momentum, but, the face punchers aren't good enough skaters or smart enough in terms of their positioning to accomplish that. It's blindingly obvious to everyone except Randy Carlyle, apparently.
