Bruins @ Maple Leafs - Nov. 5th, 7:00pm - TSN4, Fan 590

I'm not saying he's lying but I don't believe him either. The Leafs have played shenanigans with announcing injuries to their star players before. Maybe it's not the exact injury but he's not handling the puck as well as he usually does and his shot is wildly inaccurate. That sounds a hell of a lot like his wrist season

He's been fumbling pucks and missing shots all season. Even on one of the goals he did score, he first completely wiffed but then got the puck back and was able to get off a decent shot. My only concern is, if it is something like a wrist or arm/shoulder, whatever, and it's been impacting his game since the start of the season, it'll probably take more than a game or two to calm down. Fortunately the team usually picks up the slack pretty well when he is out.

This UBI announcement should surprise no one. He's got such a high talent level that he can still make significant contributions, but it's been obvious since maybe late training camp that something was off.
