Canucks @ Leafs - Feb. 4th, 7:00pm - TSN4, Fan 590

That's the first time I've seen it. He actually curled to make sure he got him in the numbers.

If I recall correctly (and I was watching this on mute so not entirely sure), the play was blown dead pretty quickly after (hand pass?) and the refs swarmed in expecting a fight; yet no consideration of a penalty call at all because the Leafs already got a couple earlier and scored.

I must have just missed this... Nylander loses his stick and STILL gets the puck with 3 Canucks surrounding him.

That was amazing.

He also took the puck from them using his stick upside down for a bit.

Trade his dog-it ass.

I think it's pretty safe to give Lehtonen a run one of these games against the bottom of the Canucks' lineup too, even though Dermott just had a muscle cramp.

I suspect Lehtonen gets in tomorrow night. The injury may not be serious, but a couple extra days of rest can't hurt.

I don't have the SportLogiq data but I'm pretty sure Terry Jerry leads the team in passes broken up on his belly, mostly because Rielly leads the team in giving his partner 2-on-1s to practice.

Brodie has been an excellent signing so far. He's calm with the puck, makes good passes, knows how to play a 2 on 1. That was a great play.

The Leafs had just come off a couple of powerplays... which is a dumb reason not to call it but that's exactly why they didn't.

The elusive blowout win! That was fun, total domination wire to wire. The shots were 39-19! Last week when VAN was beating up OTT I thought they would be a tough match-up? MTL beat them badly and it was their 3rd game in 4 nights while the Leafs were rested. Keep the foot on the gas and let's go.
