Told you they should have asked him to waive and shipped him off. Would have packaged him to Arizona and tried to get Chychrun but wtf do I know.
 
At least the overall effort was there tonight. The Leafs PP1 being the best PKers on the night wasn't a good sign though.

You need more saves when you hold a team to 20 shots but Murray was doing that for them.  The team continues to be awful against bad teams

Yes.  Two good things tonight: Matthews wasn't seriously hurt, and Murray looked sharp after weeks off.

Got hit by a shot late in the second. It hurt him. He seemed to play on.
But he hasn't been out in the 3rd.
His faceoffs were 27 win% so there may have been something happen earlier ...

Could be worse news than blowing this game ...

EDIT: he was shaking his hand/arm after he got hit by the puck so he could have broken his hand.
