Capitals @ Leafs - Feb. 21st, 7:00pm - TSN4, Fan 590

I love the cycle on this website.

"It's the goalie!"
"It's the coach!"
"It's the goalie!"
"It's the coach!"
"It's the referees!"
"It's the coach!"

Constantly blaming things on the above 3 items shows a lack of understanding of the game. They are the easiest to point at, as each are on an island, but most times, it's a combination of several factors that cause a team to lose hockey games.

Weren't the Leafs 7-2-1 before these last couple losses?

Yeah and before that they were 2-5, wildly inconsistent where they should be a lot better. Team comes out flat for games way too often, who's to blame for that?  I get that the overall record looks fine but they should be better than last year's team, and right now on a points projection they're worse. That makes no sense with the talent on this team and the players that have taken a step forward.

So that's the coaching? Wasn't it the same coach last year?

This team is a group of professional hockey players. They should be able to fire themselves up. They shouldn't need a grown man to come into the room and get them going.
