I don't buy that at all. Leafs outplayed them in the 1st and 3rd. Gardiner moves the puck quickly, the 2nd goal doesn't get scored. If Marner doesn't take a low percentage shot and Rielly plays the 2 on 1 better, they don't score. Leafs didn't lose because they were out muscled.dekedastardly said:Once again this team is out muscled. No answer for Tom Wilson. No one on this team wants to hit, or stand up to oppositions bigger, more physical players

Add in Hyman for me please. I'm sorry, this elite checker shouldn't be in the top 9.Zanzibar Buck-Buck McFate said:I think it's time to part ways with Brown.

Babs still tells bedtime stories about the checkers that could in Maltby and Draper. As he tucks in and puts to bed Nylaner, Mariner and Mathews. ?Maybe if your gud little pros, you too could have as much ice time as The Zac Hyman.?Guilt Trip said:Add in Hyman for me please. Moral victories are way better than actual wins
The funny thing is that it?s the same damn thing since day one.CarltonTheBear said:The 4th line played about 5 minutes tonight and were about 2-10 in 5-on-5 shot attempts. This specific trio might literally be the worst 4th line in the league. At least among playoff teams.
Anyway, Gauthier didn't play a single shift in the 3rd. Lindholm must have jumped on by accident because he's credit with 18 seconds. Ennis took a 01:04 shift.
I know and he still loves Hainsey. Hyman is a good checker but his lack of offence hurts the JT line like it did to Matthews' for 2 years. Hyman's best year was last, with 40 points in 82 games playing mostly with Matthews. Kappy has 37 in 59 games this year. Johnsson has 31 in 52 games not playing a lot of top 6 minutes. Hyman has only 29 points playing with JT and Marner ffs. That's not good enough.cabber24 said:Babs still tells bedtime stories about the checkers that could in Maltby and Draper. The 4th line was actually decent when Johnsson and Ennis were with Lindholm. He was on taking the shorthanded draw in the 3rd. Either way, they are not a threat to score and aren't very good defending either. Time for the Goat to go and move Lindholm back to his normal position. He was better at centre then the wing.cabber24 said:The funny thing is that it?s the same damn thing since day one.CarltonTheBear said:The 4th line played about 5 minutes tonight and were about 2-10 in 5-on-5 shot attempts. It will be a fine line to walk though as you got to make sure you don't drop down to the WC2.
Who in their right mind would rather the Leafs play the Bruins in the 1st round instead of NYI/Caps/Pens?

This will have to wait until the minutes roll in after a handful more games, but my guess is we are looking at 3 2nd pairings.
