Don't think it's at all unreasonable to think we'll soar past the U.S. and U.K. in 2nd doses by the end of the summer too.

This isn't a dig at you, but the people who report on this. All the numbers to project this were available from government websites. Scheduled deliveries, daily injection figures, etc. are all there.
I have a spreadsheet that I've been using to track and project vaccinations, its been pretty accurate in predicting where we are right now.

She reassured me as of Monday June 7th that I can choose to have an AZ shot at the pharmacy I went to the first time (Fresh Co.) or go to the Community centre and choose either the Pfizer or Moderno shot.
WOW, I didn't know she cared for me so much!
Seriously, what would be LK's opinion on the 2nd shot? Do you think mixing things up going with a Mrna shot would be better than continuing with AZ? Appreciate any advice on this.

Congrats!Bullfrog said:Got my 1st shot today (Pfizer). woohoo!
My shoulder feels like it was shot with a handgun. Normally I only get a tiny bit of soreness from a vaccine, but this is pretty intense. Should be good in a day or two!
You'll be good. Enjoy the sleep because I was pretty tired soon after!Bullfrog said:Got my 1st shot today (Pfizer). woohoo!

Honestly I?m going to be short and sweet.
In March/April when vaccine availability was the limiting factor getting AZ was the right choice. Pfizer/Moderna are superior vaccines. The early data looks very encouraging for getting Pfizer/Moderna as the second dose. Unless we run into a scenario where the vaccine supply suddenly tanked I would go for mRNA for your second shot.
I still support the use of the AZ vaccine and if you feel more comfortable getting it as your second dose you will still be well protected but the response from the mRNA vaccines appears to be extremely robust
