Alright Dr. LK...

Lucky Strikes = smokes
Red Stripe = Beer

You're conflating your vices there.  We can discuss tonight at our regular Beef Baron meet up.

Pardon me, but Lucky Stripe is a brand of cigarettes in the Yu-Gi-Oh universe.

Both AZ and Pfizer very effective against the Delta variant. And good news, AZ is found to be more effective than originally thought; up from around 66 to 75% effective.

I was reading somewhere that even very loose jurisdictions aren't proposing what Alberta is proposing.

Personal issue = I'm a fucking moron who thinks blogs and the Conservo-sphere pulling stuff out of thin air are more logical than science.

I hope he forces his team to forfeit games with his non-vaccinating ass.

You are preaching to a guy who got double vaccinated in January/February due to my ER work but the NDP continue to be tone deaf.

Coming out with the statement yesterday in the first place was profoundly stupid.  Clarifying it to "health care workers and teachers" is also a dumb statement because quite frankly every single god damn person should be getting the vaccine if you don't have a true contraindication to it.  Stop pussyfooting around the "my body, my choice" crowd...particularly when they significantly overlap with the "woman don't have a right to choose" crowd.

How true LK.  I was just in the USVI and its starting to run rampant again, the BVI is out of control, with a lot of young people dying. The realigous leaders are saying the vaccines are Satans work and that they should "Fast & Pray".    The locals don't want to be vaccinated.  Same here in St.Martin, the french side has 7 beds and its just been placed on the US don't visit list as has the USVI.
This thing has to be mandatory for everybody or we are in for a world more of this shit.  My Pharmacist/Doc friend told me last night that he thinks things are going to get a lot worse in the future, just to many people in the world for this thing to continue to mutate into the next thing.
In one business trip, my wife and I have had to take 7 Antigen/PCR test to get on planes to go places.  Thats almost 1K in expenses there.
Stop the world I want to get off.

100%.

This right infringement is a load of horsesh*t. People need to realize that in order for society to thrive and succeed, sometimes, the greater good has to outweigh the needs of the toddler throwing a tantrum in the corner.

The disgust I have for all walks of government throughout this entire process has really made me question where, and for whom, I vote next. Riding the fence is not an endearing quality that I want in my politicians.

This government got elected on a back-of-a-used-napkin platform that was essentially "boys like booze and boobs".

I'm struggling with the idea of a certificate / passport.

On one side, I'm totally pro-science, I generally trust my government, etc. I'm relatively fierce on anti-vaxxers, anti-GMOers, and so on. I would promote community safety over individual freedom.

But there is a slight side of me that thinks it's just not necessary. Can we trust our fellow citizens to use their judgement? If 80%+ gets fully vaccinated (and we're getting there), do I need to worry?

I'm self-employed with one partner. Would I feel differently if I had 10 employees and was letting them all back into the office?

I'm conflicted.
