Devils @ Leafs - Mar. 23rd, 7:30pm - SNO, TSN 1050

Just thinking on the standings as they are today:

Round 1 - Toronto/Ottawa and Montreal/Boston
Round 2 - Toronto/Montreal

Thats three pretty fantastic series to look at.  Right now Pittsburgh is up 1-0 on Ottawa.  A Leafs win/Sens loss and the Leafs move to 3 points back with 9 games left.

Leafs holding a 20 to 6... uh... edge in second period shot attempts.

Edit: 24 to 12 at the end of the 2nd.

The first place team in the Atlantic will get the higher ranked wildcard as the lower ranked division winner. What division they play in doesn't matter for the wildcard.

This game has gotten pretty sleepy but if NJ could get the next one then all of a sudden....

And so Toronto/New York in round 2.

1. Really undisciplined play by Hunwick on the PK.
2. I don't understand why NJ didn't get an instigating penalty after.
3. Boo.
