Ducks vs. Maple Leafs - Jan. 3rd, 9:00pm - SN, Fan 590

Not sure what Anaheim is objecting to. The guy coming off the bench hit a Leaf player (also could have been interference).  The guy coming off for him wasn't at the bench yet

I really wish Rielly would shoot every once in a while to make teams not just know that he'll hold the puck for 10 seconds and then do a short pass to Matthews or Nylander

Leafs have done everything but score. Keep to the plan and they'll get rewarded.

And it will be a Benoit shot that tips off a Duck skate heel
Whatever works. They've played a good game and deserve better. Minus that 4on4 debacle they've looked great.

Other than that shift that resulted in the goal (amounting to about 10-15 seconds) the Leafs have dominated this game.

Playing on a back to back this has been a phenomenal effort outside of getting goalied

Said it for years he shouldn't be quarterbacking the PP because he has no shot. They have no one else. Klingberg I think was brought in but no idea what the heck happened to him in the games I watched him play. Almost like he forgot how to shoot. One thing we haven't had for years an actual threat on the point with the man advantage.

The Leafs don?t really quarterback from Rielly though. It?s Marner or Nylander at the half wall in previous seasons, and now from the point or goal line.

Then maybe throw 5 forwards out there and at least have someone that can keep them guessing.

Keefe tried that on the Marlies for a bit but it was so bad they had to drop it. He has since done it a couple of times towards the end of periods on PPs chasing the score.
