Flyers @ Leafs - Oct. 28th, 7:00pm - CBC, TSN 1050

Andersen really hasn't been great to start the year.  Surprised he has played 10 of the Leafs 11 games.

I'm generally pretty quick to defend Andersen but that's one he probably needs to get, even if it is to bail out Polak/whoever

It wasn't a great goal to give up, but it was a play that never should have developed the way it did.

Luckily our record doesn't reflect just how bad Andersen has played.  .893 save percentage is terrible!

For a big goalie, Andersen has more holes than Swiss cheese!

He still should have saved it. That wasn't exactly a diffcult shot. His blocker side sucks.

Leivo has been involved in 3 or 4 really good offensively sets so far.  Babcock's dislike of Leivo is perplexing.

I never said he shouldn't have, but, ultimately, the team isn't going to win as many games as they'd like to if they need their goalie to bail them out as much as they have of late. To me, that's the real problem here. I don't care who is in net - teams that need their goalie to cover up this many mistakes don't have success.

Nail on head.

If you opened the referee text book to see what interference was that would pretty much have been the example. Horrible officiating.

So, sticking your arm into another player's skating lane isn't interference now? Here I was thinking it was basically textbook.

Borgman getting grabbed and thrown down is also not a penalty, FYI.

Yeah, I noticed that, too. I can understand that one being the refs feeling they just got tangled up with each other, but, still should have been a call. Maybe a little less blatant than the Gudas straight-arm, though.
