Game 32: Vancouver @ Toronto - Dec. 17 - 7pm - CBC

You know, watching this game, it occurs to me that the Leafs are being built very similarly to the Canucks, just without the diving and whining, and with more toughness. Of course, being that the Leafs have 2 former Canuck GMs in their front office, this is hardly a surprise. Obviously, the Leafs aren't there yet.

I've never understood the "Sedin sisters" type of jokes. They're damn good hockey players and no more or less physical than Kessel and other similar players.

Interesting thought, I'd love to hear Burke's honest take on the diving team.

When we're skating well the comparison is not too far-fetched.  And, while nobody has chemistry like Hank and Dan, Kessel and Lupul are sure looking like a line for the long term.

I think it has to do with lingering notions over how their team plays ( whining and diving ) as well as being easy marks from the 'chicken Swede' crowd. You're right of course, they're good hockey players.
 
Hope they don't burn out in the third after playing last night.It's been a pretty close game so far and we still have a shot at winning. Kessel really needs to bury one.
