Where are the doods who use to call out Jonas for "going down too early and not knowing where his posts are"? I did see some criticism but holy hell does Reimer get the benefit by comparison.

Anywho, good to see a win. Missed the the first two, Leafs played well?

An empty net goal? The wheels really have come off, eh?

A couple of nice Pre-Christmas wins by the Leafs.  Good to see Kadri produce in both games.  Certainly a different kind of Kadri here.  Also, Reimer is getting his groove back again, having faced 80 shots (L.A. & Buffalo games, allowing a total of 6 goals), not bad for a guy many of us wondered if he would get back to his reliable old self again.

Let's hope the Leafs go on a winning streak after the holiday schedule resumes.  On a winning note on high!

Merry Christmas, LeafsNation!!  :D

I'm pretty sure more than one person said Reimer was looking bad tonight. I even said Gustavsson should have started.

They probably left after Jonas finally started playing consistent hockey. And after Reimer's consecutive goaltending clinic games, you're probably not going to hear alot of criticism. Fairly simple really.

Good win, weird officiating, as always. And another game where Toronto had the majority of chances yet had less pp's.

Yup, that's why I mentioned the criticism but it's nothing of the caustic variety I saw continually with Jonas, though some seem to have come around.

Wasn't pointing at you Zee, fwiw.

When he was playing well I saw comments like that.

Anywho, I just find it funny how Reimer, who has not had that many great games this year, gets the benefit of the doubt from some and Jonas was their goat for sooooo long.

That's cause Reimer has carried the Leafs for a far longer stretch than Jonas ever has, and Reimer hasn't had a prolonged period of poor play.

Good thing youre not the coach! Ill take a win thank you very much!

Nice back to back wins just before a little Christmas break. Glad they didnt go back to their old ways of losing a game they should be winning...

Connolly - penalty for getting crosschecked in the face

That cross-check to the face was far, far worse than what Maccarthur did in the pre-season and was suspended two regular season games for.  For the sake of consistency, the guy who checked Connolly should receive at least a 2-game suspension.  Anyone think that will happen?  (No, of course not. Super irritating.)
