That's a part of pro-sports, trade talks are always around players.  Either it's yourself or a friend on the team it's unavoidable.  It's how the players react to it that will tell the tale. If Reimer/Scrivens grab the reigns and lead the Leafs marching into the playoffs and a nice run, the trade talk will all be a distant memory and the goalies will be all the better for it.  This stretch run experience will be huge in their development I think.

What if the lack of a goalie trade energizes Reimer?  Shuts out the Flyers, leads us into the playoffs and gets us 1 win away from the finals only for us to be unfairly shafted by Kerry Fraser and his stupid hair?!?!?  (still bitter)

Newly acquired from Colorado, Ryan O'Byrne is scheduled to land in Toronto on Thursday afternoon. Randy Carlyle wasn't sure if he'd play against the Flyers ? what with the afternoon flight ? but said he?d be available if needed.

- Frazer McLaren* has been battling a flu and will be a game-time decision on Thursday. Recalled from the Marlies on Thursday morning, Joe Colborne is available as a precaution.

Clarke MacArthur and Leo Komarov will both remain out of the lineup with upper-body injuries. MacArthur has missed the past three, Komarov the past five. Both players said they were close, but needed at least another couple days for full recovery.

- James Reimer gets the call in goal against Philadelphia. He beat the Flyers in Toronto on February 11th.
