I couldn't find the particular interview there or anywhere on the Leafs site, too bad.

click on the link then change the channel to "Dressing Room"

Yeah I looked through there and saw the one with the scrum but the one I'm thinking of was a one on one where Jonas talked about him and Reimer pushing each other to be better, I think it was in the hallway outside the locker room. Thanks though, I'm still having a look.

At the end, after Ron and Don talk.

Hopefully stuff like that kills off the "Gus is a bad teammate because he stares at his defensemen and occasionally would smash his stick in frustration" stuff.  Reimer was getting praised for making similar comments earlier in the year.

Maybe it's my devotion to the guy that causal fans turn on but I hope Gustavson stick around in the organization next year (assuming his play continues to develop).  I'm tired of losing the Kaberle's and Antropov's of the NHL.

Just for the record I've always been a fairly big supporter of Jonas, maybe even a bit homerish but I'll live with it. He's matured and if he's healthy he's an asset.

LK, I referenced body language earlier, he isn't doing that for the most part anymore, not that it should have been a big deal anyways but his reactions seem more composed and he does seem to be more 'within himself' as a goalie.

I thought Reimers reactions after some goals were a little telling about his confidence recently, if the Leafs can get both of them going and, like Jonas mentioned, support and push each other they could be a good tandem for a long time. Not a lot of reason to believe he won't be with the team next year to me.

Whether or not Gus is with the team next year probably depends on (in addition to how the rest of this year plays out) if anyone "better" is available. (Trade or FA signing)

I know that this has been covered in its own thread, but Kulemin, sheesh. Last night watching him was disappointing. He could be such a huge asset to the Leafs if he could get going.

He was never in the right place at the right time. At one point he was standing beside the Leaf puck carrier behind the opposing net.

If he were in front of the net, it would have helped.

I hope he can shake whatever is throwing off his game. I really like his potential.

Defeating the Red Wings, still one of the best teams in the league,  has got to a confidence booster for the young Leafs club.  Everyone knows that when playing top teams,  such as Detroit,  who sport an incredible knack of skill and experience, giving up a lead can become the decisive factor in the outcome of the game.

Thanks to Gustavvson's closing minute save and Lupul's savvy timing, the Leafs sustained a victory.  Whew!  That was close, but it made for some great exciting hockey between these two original six opponents!

GO LEAFS GO!  On a roll this homestand!
