Game 6: Bruins @ Leafs - Apr. 21st, 3:00pm - CBC, Fan 590

So, the bad news is I picked up a GI bug and will be canceling plans to visit with my wife's family for Easter dinner (which is always tasty.)

The good news is I picked up a GI bug, my family has gone out to the in-laws, and I get to watch a stupid 3:00 pm game in peace.

I admire your planning.  And the start time is stupid-stupid.  Hope the Leafs are prepared.

Well, the other bad news is my wife doesn't believe me and finds it "rather convenient" that I'm feeling "unwell" [quotes hers] when there's an afternoon hockey game.

Happy Easter guys. Let's close this out. No game 7.

As much as we harp and bash each other in the end we r all here for the same reason. Happy Easter everyone and let?s put these Bruins away. GLG.

In the past I've left family reunions, birthdays, holidays, picnics to go home and watch the Leafs in the playoffs.

Friday night I had a choice to make and decided to put myself in an area where it was not possible to watch.

I cam home late last night to make sure PVR is set for this goofy time and to decide if I'm watching it.

The answer is no since...you know...Friday win...but it's14 minutes after 3 and I'm getting weak.

But I will persevere.

Hopefully reading this thread after the game will be....epic....

I'm all for more of these 8pm games (UK time)

It's Playoff Marriage time.  You've got to push back, you've got to keep focus on the task at hand, you've got win one shift at a time, you've got to promise to take her out to that really expensive restaurant she's been wanting to try.
