Game 7: Leafs @ Bruins - Apr. 23rd, 7:00pm - CBC, TSN 1050

If Babs doesn't have Ennis and Moore out there with Nylander to start the 3rd then something is wrong. I am sincerely hoping that the Goat scores tonight because Babs won't do as advise.

Well, Babcock's bench management may decide the issue.  That and our PK, I'm sure BOS will get a call.

Keep playing the way they are and hopefully they can pot one. This time around the tables are turned. They have the lead. Our turn to come from behind.

I was thinking the same thing.  I say it happens!

The Leafs should play Nylander with Ennis and Moore for the 3rd period.  And not play Marleau Brown and the Goat who have not generated any offence for the playoffs (if not the last 3 months...).  But it would require coaching shrewdness by Babs which has been woefully lacking.

Totally put Ennis up with the 3rd line.

Give him a contract for next year too if he can't get big money elsewhere.
He won't be back.
Yeah...pretty sure someone will offer him 3x$2.0M or 2x 2.5M or something along those lines to play on their 3rd line with the potential to play up in the line-up in the event of injury.

Absolutely. The big 3 had better be on all 3rd.  If Babcock continues to play the 3rd line as is (4th is outplaying 3rd or actually Ennis and Moore are) and he doesn't roll top 2 lines with the odd 3rd with Willy/Moore/Ennis it's something Dubas needs to address..

Got to tell you the truth, we have 2-3 defensive weakness's real liabilities, they have next to none, if our O can keep up the pressure we can win this.

But we need some D coming up to be a real contender, look at Columbus.  If we are in a 5 year rebuild, aren't we in 3-4?  We need some good D and they are coming. We have our offensive core set for the next 6 years once we sign Mitch.  With D, watch out.

Still hoping big time for round two, I still want to make that call to my Son.

The takeaway so far is that the Leafs could have folded, could have let that 3rd goal in and then it's pretty much game over.  I see some more resiliency in the team now.  The D has probably had one of its worst games in the series (Dermott, Zaitsev, Gardiner in the 1st) but credit to Gardiner, he was good in the 2nd.  Muzzin and Rielly have been great.

I am going to remain positive.  This is a great opportunity for the Leafs.  Grab it!

Agreed. Time for some Marner magic please... Time for Babs to show us how good he is. Goat shouldn't see the ice in the 3rd and Marleau/Brown should be very limited. We'll see. Go Leafs Go.
