Game 7: Leafs @ Bruins - Apr. 23rd, 7:00pm - CBC, TSN 1050

Yeah, Babcock has to answer for this to some extent.  Way too reluctant to shake up lines.  He should have done it after they went up 3-1.

There you have it folks. Team hasn?t made any progress as much as some of you think and I put the blame on coaching and management.
Don?t worry though Nylander will be back with a vengeance cuz Dubas promised not to trade him while he is GM. Well maybe Shanahan needs to get rid of him as well as Egocock. See you next year everyone.

If Babcock returns next season the leafs have zero chance of advancing in the playoffs.  He is the real problem.  Matthews hates him.

When Simpson highlighted Matthews TOI and time between shifts that sealed it for me - not that I needed any further evidence.
Agree with this. Matthews did not play enough again.

I mean this has to go down as a disappointment.  Freddy wasn?t good today but the big guns didn?t show up tonight

But you can't blame Babcock for the fact that Tyler Ennis was your best player in a Game 7 elimination.  Or that Rask easily bettered Andersen.

Tavares bounced back, I thought.  Marner ... all I can say is that he'd better reveal he's been playing on a broken foot or something since blocking those shots.

Worst part is, leafs played OK, Andersen again wasn?t good enough in game 7.  It?s just a repeating loop.

I think Tavares did.  I think Matthews did.  But 34 can't score from the bench.

I love how you pull crap out of thin air and state it as fact.

The first 2 periods the Leafs played great.

That 3rd goal really seemed to deflate them. Also you know in the last 10 minutes Boston would be allowed to interfere and hook like crazy.

Babcock needs to go for playing Marleau and Brown as much as he did. Completely neutered the Leafs scoring depth.

Yes, apologies to you herman but Nylander had an awful season.  I give him some credit for some sproadic good play in the playoffs but 1 goal doesn't cut it.
