Game 8 - Leafs @ Flyers - Monday Oct 24th 2011 - 19:00 EST - 4-2 Loss

A solid shift with Frattin, Kadri and Gardiner all out there. Make you feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

any news on Pronger yet?

Hope not but I'm thinking that Grabo gave him a Hossa.

There wasn't any blood drawn on the play (or, if there was, there wasn't much), so I'm fairly certain whatever happened to Pronger isn't in the same realm.

Gardiner is doing a lot of little things right, some he wasn't doing for a couple games. Nice to see. That last line change was a perfect call from him after they lost the pressure on the blue line.

Phaneuf made a nice play around the 15 mark when 4 Leafs were trapped deep.

Based on what we saw (stick around the eye, lack of blood, Pronger in serious pain) and the news since, my guess is Pronger's injury is something to do with his orbital bone, not his eye.

Phaneuf got a little over-excited there.

Yeah, that turnover led to that flurry of Flyer chances. Of course, it would have helped if the Leafs could clear the zone without soiling their pants.

Argh that sucks, I hate seeing great players get hurt. Those are scary injuries. Bryan Berard.... still makes me cringe.
