Not use the Leafs have quite got going.

The overly rested after 5 days off but travelled team versus the travelled and played team.

Not sure which you prefer to be. Rested, or have worked that out of the legs, despite being back to back.

For tonight I think Detroit has the advantage for at least the first period but I do think that the five days off was probably valuable for working on system and team bonding.  So I'll take the 5 days
 
Matthews feet fly up in the air with a Detroit stick around them....penalty? Of course not

Interesting that they?ve adjusted the arena to have NHL sized ice pad rather than its usual Olympic sized pad. Didn?t think that was easy done.

Seider still doesn't look like a Hedman level of problem to play against but he's a really big and solid defenseman
 
Marner is in Pass only mode again.  He tries to force passes way too much when he does that.  Stop looking for tap ins
 
Leafs are exiting the zone a lot and forcing the defenseman to make a lot of stretch passes

Oh wow and what a stupid penalty there .  That has happened 20 times already tonight
