It's gotta be tough to play in front of a guy and have zero confidence in him.  But that's the way the team's played the past few games. It can affect your entire team's play.

It's also tough to play behind a team you don't have much confidence in. Reimer hasn't been good tonight, but, the rest of the team has struggled with their play long before he started to struggle with his.

Well, Kessel is at least as much at fault as Reimer for the first one.  But for a guy who wants to be a #1, he needs to be a hell of lot better.

Without knowing precisely if we'll make the playoffs, would you say it's time for our viewers to crack each other's heads open and feast on the goo inside?

It's not really an 18 wheeler this season. They've really been walking the tightrope since November.

Their playoff chances went from 90% to I think just above 40% if they lose tonight.

No doubt. But there's been a real sense of the team being lost since Reimer took over, the same sense we've had for stretches of his entire tenure as a Leaf. I'm not saying it's all his fault, but I notice a significant difference in the team's play when he's in net.  I don't think it's a coincidence that most of the blowouts happen with him starting.

Yeah, but, they were out of the playoffs for a little while in December, and, really, those odds have been up and down like a yo-yo this season.

We are awful. This game will get interesting with 2 min left in the 3rd period when they score one goal with Reiner on the bench.
