Heat pump

Mine is air. And this old house is draughty, but all the better to heat with a pump! I find the gas kicks in a fair amount in full winter, but it's heat pump to the rescue in these cool Octobers and Novembers

I moved from Ontario to Nova Scotia two years ago and had never heard of heat pumps before. We always had a furnace for the winter and central air for the summer. They seem to work pretty good. The summer is the cheapest for us but the winter can go up in price mostly because I think our electric baseboard heat also kicks in.
