Problem with this team and always has been is the bosses don't give a rats a**. As long as the seats are full they couldn't give a crap. Been like that since Ballard owned the team.
 
St. Louis - Colorado tied 1-1
Minnesota - Columbus tied 1-1

A Minnesota win and the Leafs drop another slot in standings (OT and Columbus moves a step closer to their inevitable passing of the Leafs).

A Colorado win and they hit 50 points and probably clinch finishing ahead of the Leafs.  :)
 
Only the Leafs could make the Hurricanes look like the Kings/Blues/Ducks. Well done.

The excuses after this one? We weren't good enough, didn't have our legs, we have to be better, not sure what happened, blah, blah, blah.......and still nothing will be done.
 
I am mildly hopeful that Shanahan has already decided to pull the plug on this bunch of losers and is just biding his time.

I just don't think there is anything left to learn about them.

Santorelli should be traded IMO, I think its going to take 3M to get him extended.

I really hope so. What's more is that the only players that are really responsible for the debacle of the team of recent years are Phaneuf, Kessel, Franson, JVR, Bozak, Kadri and Gardiner.

JVR and Kadri are young enough and have shown strides in other areas of their games that I'd keep them around. Everyone else should disappear. Polak and Santorelli have shown enough this year to warrant staying on IMO.

It should be interesting to see what Shanny has in store. The longer they look like this, the bigger the changes to come. At least that's my hope.

These 4 and Rielly are the only ones that I wouldn't mind seeing in a Leafs jersey next year.  Maybe Holland too.  But there's not a single player on the roster that I wouldn't trade for the right return.

Maybe he knows that a trade will ruin their losing ways by helping morale, thus destroying their inevitable last place finish. The guy is an evil genius.

In the first couple of games Horachek and company were very vocal on the bench, talking to the players.  Now they look shell-shocked.
 
How the hell is Kadri supposed to fly in the air and change his position to not hit the goalie.  Refs are morons. Kadri - 2 minutes for not defying the laws of physics.

Yes Rielly was a given in my mind, but I forgot to mention him.

This team needs to target some bigger guys that can control the puck (and who have skill). As constructed, they're really soft on the puck.

That or I'd like to see him get physical. Throw some big hits. Fight (once the game is out of hand). Show your teammates that getting beaten isn't something you're gonna take lying down.

I think other teams/players think he's a joke. There's a reason he was voted most overrated player in the league by his peers.
