After the Colorado game this has been another good game from the Leafs.

I think this is the first game I have been impressed with Gustafsson

I agree.  I don't really remember him taking anything particularly notable in the last week or so but he does have a lot of plays where he dodged through a check and I wonder if he's nursing something.  He still has had a few shifts where he does that one armed drive to the net but something feels off

Ah, I expect he's fine. Defensive zone play won't ever be his strength.
 
It looks to me like the goal he scored last game went to reilly's legs. He's looked a lot better, including tonight.
 
1.  Samsonov the better goalie.
2.  Converting on pretty much every one of the very few chances Carolina has given up.
