Is this the turning point???

Well no matter........ In the end we did the best thing, we filled a    hole with a stay at home dman. and still we have two goalies that will do just fine in the playoffs.

I like the way you left a gap between "a" and "hole" to emphasize that hole.

Just read the 1st post in this thread.  Finally, you got it right nutman!  *pat on the back*  :)

Agreed. Although the nutman had many skeptics and nonbelievers, looking back it was prophetic.

thanks. I'm no prophet, but early last yr I could see the talent we had on the farm, and knew the young guys we had  were comming into there own. loosing Reimer set us back to this year, and Nonis made some bold changes, and now were that top 5 team I thought we would be. one thing I can say for sure, I wouldn't want to be the team that has to play us in round one.

Your call on Kadri was good. Some people were getting ready to label him a bust.

And gain some great experience for the playoffs in the future.

For sure.  Imo I think any win in this yrs playoffs is all bonus. I don't expect a real run untill next season. Like I said expierence this year and ahead full next, is what I see. but if they go for a run this season it wont break my heart any ;D.

With Lupul likely to be done for the year, I'd say THIS is the turning point.

I'm as pessimistic as they come, but there's no need to jump to that conclusion.  Sometime the most vicious-looking hits aren't as bad as the most innocuous-looking.

That's my point.

And no call on it. then we get a penalty on a soft hit. then they get the winning goal on a no call on goalie interference. what  load of crap that was.

were to good for one player to sink us. although it will hurt in the tough games. Like Deon said, the remaining Leafs need to suck it up, and step up there games. after all it is a team game, and good teams do just that when a star falls for a bit.
