It's just there so he won't get fined.
Fined? Did I miss something?
The NHLPA agreed on mandatory visors in 2013. It's grandfathered in the same way as helmets but I believe that Komarov doesn't get to be a grandfathered candidate.

For the record, Komarov isn't forced to wear a visor. He's always worn it like that.
I blame the lose on that play darn awfulTML fan said:I know 2-on-1s are hard to play, but Gardiner needs to stay on his feet.

Come on man, I just gave you a nod and you skate back like that on the goal?
He flopped around on the ice like a fish out of water.CarltonTheBear said:TML fan said:I know 2-on-1s are hard to play, but Gardiner needs to stay on his feet.
He went down to try and block the pass, fairly standard move.
Regardless, that was a 2-on-1 with a crossover at the top of the circle. That's basically un-defendable if you don't have someone else coming back to help.

No he didn't.

Blaming a loss on a single play is such a silly thing to do. If Bozak didn't go offside that one time in the 3rd period maybe Matthias scores a goal and we aren't even living in this universe anymore?
TML fan said:No it's not. No coach worth his/her salt at any level will ever tell you to leave your feet. The moment you leave your feet you take yourself out of the play.
It was a tough play, but he played it poorly.
