Kings @ Leafs - Dec. 11th, 7:30pm - TSN, TSN 1050

I'm having my wisdom teeth removed today so hopefully if things go south in the game I'll be so drugged up on painkillers and anti-inflammatories that even the fireplace channel would seem entertaining for 3 hours.

A real man would stand in front of a slap shot or take a high stick to get rid of those things.  Certainly you're not going to a dentist...  :P

and then out comes the drill and your hopes are dashed. Then the guilt about all the chocolate and pop, the promises to cut back on sugar, and......

or maybe that's just me.

Depending how this game goes it may be like a trip to the dentist.

I'm going to be cautiously optimistic because why not?

I was thinking more like a night in the iron maiden.  Man, I really hope the Leafs can somehow pull out a win tonight as they really need a confidence boost.  I'm going 3-1 Leafs with 2 from JVR and Holland with the other.

Honestly, right now, I'm watching the game more for the comedic value more than anything else. I have no expectations for success from this team right now.

Do the Leafs always have to be the worst at something? Like absolutely last in the league? That a rule? For years it was goaltending, save percentage, penalty kill, now it's puck possession, shots against, shots for, and soon to be the PK. Even middle of the road in a couple of these areas would make a huge difference here.

I have been yesterday for root canal treatment, painful as hell... I am not ready to take any more pain.

And who said that's not how it went down for me today? I never said what kind of dentist I was going to.  ;D

Rielly is taking rushes with Jake Gardiner. John-Michael Liles would seem to be the odd man out. Will see shortly if that's the case.

Good luck to the Leafs tonight, against one of the best teams in the league.

GO LEAFS GO!!!  Let's go, Joffrey!  Fire up that puck!

Interesting. You don't normally see a change like that after the morning practice had Rielly out.

Liles should still be in over either Fraser or Ranger, but I guess I'll take it.

Back home and back to watching this one on the standard normal 32 inch HD TV via Gamecenter rather than on one of 199 massive Super HD TVs in Real Sports or being at the game.

Had a horrendous day of travelling with flights cancelled due to fog in London so could do with the Leafs winning to cheer me up unlike when I came all the way over to see them. Make it happen, Randy.

Well, that's halfway there.
