What's worse? Carlyle's triangle penalty kill or Wilson's drop pass PP entry?

A lot of teams use the drop pass PP entry successfully. I'm not sure any use the triangle PK . . . but, I also put special teams largely on the assistants, so, I don't put a lot of the blame on Carlyle there.

Yeah it was going alright there for a bit.

Now like the Bruins and Sharks game, is this the part where the Leafs fold?

It was better. McClement just let Doughty walk in. He's worried about the pass to the guy who's going to shoot it into traffic. Bad play by him.

I just don't see how either player could have been called there, just seemed like an incidental collision where they both went down.

Yeah. It looked to me like they both grabbed on to each other when the LA player lost his balance and started to fall backwards into Holland.

This diamond pk is turrible...... When did we change to this? Last year I remember us playing an aggressive box.....I am quickly running out of patience with Carlyle.

?? It was exactly the way it always is. One forward standing still between the circles, the defenceman standing behind them playing "positionally" rather than covering anybody, one forward moving around. Essentially the opposing team can set up and shoot at will.

Yeah, yeah, I just put their names there to represent the eras. And while the drop pass is more commonly used, I'm referring to the period where that team used it every single freakin' time they tried to gain the zone.

They're so freaking passive out there. Like the Kings are just going to turn it over for no reason. This team is hopeless...

Still waiting for Clarkson to show me anything above a 3rd line grinder.

You might need this to see it:
