For all you Gardiner lovers.

1. He didn't do anything specifically bad there.
2. His team gave him no support.
3. One mediocre play doesn't make him bad.
4. He's good WAY more than he's bad.

Really. Holy. To your first point it was like 3 dumb mistakes there not just one.

I don't hate the original giveaway, he didn't really have anybody to pass to and the Leafs have been using the boards to clear the zone for the past few games. Most of the other defencemen make the same play and nobody says a thing. He did get beat along the boards after, which I've always said is his biggest weakness. After that, well 4 other guys were standing around not doing anything too.

Bozak blocked Andersen's view and failed to block the shot. You'd like Andersen to make that save but I don't think he ever really saw it. Bozak should have blocked it.

Gardiner's play on that shift was atrocious.

Agreed

He gave the puck away to start it all. Then he lost it a second time.. Please that's all on Gardiner.

When you have 0 support, there's not a whole lot you can do but send it out of the zone as far from trouble as you can.

What do you expect from him?

I don?t know why it takes some people so long to realize that ?bad? plays are sometimes generated by really good opposing plays.

Ya I agree with you there but why throw the puck away to the opposition. He could of easily skated behind the net rather than just throwing it away. Then 2 more blunders when the puck was in the Leaf end.

I think CtB and AvroArrow explained it well. It?s not safe to skate on your own with two forecheckers on top of you.

It was soft and lazy on his part...get over it.

Hainsey is so weak.  Dominating shift by the leafs.  A tired bruins line comes back and Hainsey looks like a pylon.
