Useless f?n effort with the PP. if I was Babcock half of these clowns wouldn?t see anymore PP time. No urgency at all. Marner looks like crap tonight. Send Johnsson n Kapanen whoever out there the rest of the big guys don?t deserve it. Pathetic.

The fault is babcocks.  His employee designs the PP.  the plays are being cheated by the coaching staff.

The powerplay is literally dragging this team back to the rest of the pack.

Both units need a complete reboot.

Another OT game coming? If the Leafs actually had a PP this game could be over by now.

Tavares, Hyman, Nylander, Kappy are all working hard.

Marner and Matthews look horrible. I want to see Matthews move his feet more. He just floats around. He never initiates contact or tries to start a play on his own.

He looked laboured after that in close chance he had in the 1st. He tumbled into the boards earlier in that period. I think he hurt his shoulder again.

Montreals PK is impressive. They're giving the PP zero time to make passes in their own zone and the neutral zone. Gotta take advantage of the open man up ice.

He has looked like that for a while.

I'm not sure if it's a physical thing or a mental thing. He doesn't look like a dominant player to me.

He hasn't done much since early in the 1st ... but doesn't he have a 3 or 4 game goal streak?

Their program is solid. Indeed it should open up a lot of space for whoever is not being forechecked mid-ice.

The takeaway by Ronald to spring Tavares and Hyman was even better.

If Hainsey could still skate he'd be pretty solid.

He always gets his goals but he doesn't seem to be all over the ice like in seasons past.

Hope he turns it around starting here in the 3rd. I just get the impression he doesn't give a f**k.

And what scares me is the Habs are bound to get one or two more and put one in.

PP is a concern too much talent to look this dismal.

Players have to be more aggressive. Pursuit by some with the extra guy is atrocious. Like I said too complacent no urgency whatsoever.

Kadri and Matthews playing tonight? Both usually play well against Montreal tonight ain?t seeing it.
