Yes, I didn't like Ranger's positioning on that goal. Plus, he was screening Reims.

Ranger would have been the one who was playing the right side, so yeah. But I'm not convinced that logic is gonna keep him from Randy's wrath.

Depends on the context.  Players back towards you 3 feet from the boards?  I would say in that context don't touch, especially considering you're on a PP and the guy won't be pressing. 

It wasn't egregious by any means, but fact is it was a very poor decision.  Both refs called it, he put himself in poor position.
