Leafs @ Capitals - Apr. 13th, 7:00pm - CBC, TSN 1050

DC slowly took over the game in the 3rd.  We put up what has to be close to our best effort ... I still think we'll win 1 somewhere along the line but they are relentless.

4th line on for two shifts in OT.  They give up the best scoring chance and the game winning goal.

This is the least upset I've ever been about a playoff OT loss, by a wide margin.

I felt the same way.  More upset about having to hear about the 4th line for two more days than the loss.

Still, I was hoping for a win.  That would have really got the Caps thinking.

Someone please explain to me why goalies fall to their knees before the shot...especially a shot from that bad of an angle. That OT goal should never have happened!
Does anyone not play like Brodeur anymore?
He would read the shot first.

Would hope Babcock was writing a "note to self" to this effect when he was hanging around on the bench after it went in...

Also: Matthews doesn't need to touch the puck that often to be dangerous, but he does need to touch it, at some point... and Hyman leading the charge into the Washington zone isn't producing that result.

Both teams used their 4th lines 11-12 minutes tonight and, generally, I thought the Boyle line was pretty effective.
