Leafs @ Ducks - Jan. 6th, 10:00pm - SNO, Fan 590

The Leafs 5 on 3 powerplays are always awful.  So much pointless passing back and forth that never stretches the defenders.

When you see Corey Perry do something in a 4-0 game:

Not that it matters with the score 4-0 but that was awful.

Ya only good thing about it was it took 2 minutes off the clock.

This is getting a little out of hand.  They'd better hurry up and start selling off assets before Babcock gets them into the playoffs or something stupid like that.

15-8-5 since the start of November.  16-15-7 on the season now. The Leafs are one of 14 teams with at least an even +/- on the season too.  Babcock is too good.

they're a hardworking team.  they got outshot badly in the first but they came away with the lead and came back twice as hard.  when they have goaltending they're hard to beat.

Glad to see Bernier playing to his capabilities.. Also Parenteau making himself a bit more valuable on trade deadline day... a little

Also remember like 3 weeks ago when everyone said that Bernier was done as a NHL goalie? Good times.

And rumours of their possession demise so far appear to have been greatly exaggerated (this is going into last night's game):

They're 14th in score adjusted CF% right now.

Indeed, I'm genuinely happy for him that he's steadied himself somewhat.

If he'd have fought Andersen after the Perry incident they'd have built a statue of him in this city.  ;D
