Nice job. Reaves at 99 hits already, Keep your head up boys!

Nylander will challenge Reaves to a fight and absolutely destroy him tonight

Funny in your GDT S.I. you mention Babcock referring to himself in the 3rd person. Not my favourite thing to hear. It has a circle the wagons kind of effect.  Did we hit an iceberg, is Captain Smith going down with the ship?
Also its clear that Shore, Petan and Spezza are not part of our long term plans (although I hope they can keep Spezza for leadership issues even if he doesn't play that much).
Ok they have brought up Engvall, good, so we will probably see him in AZ.  However what about Bracco subbing for Marner.  Can't hurt all that much and give the kid a taste.  If Petan could do the job would not be typing this.

Also Muzzin spoke to his teammates yesterday, told them it's not the coaches but that they all have to buck up and play strong D.....all of them.  We can't let Muzzin go.

I didn't actually hear the clip.  The Team 1200 was taking a shot at him last night because of it.  Also this morning John Roddenberg, Shaun Simpson, and Pierre Maguire took a shot at Dubas and his analytics approach to building a team.  This is the part of sports that gets me.  Every team has a down cycle, or multiple down cycles, but no one wants to give a team credit when they do something great, and they are more than happy to pile on when things go bad.

That 2nd PP unit is a joke. Seriously? No hands Hyman with 2 guys that are regular scratches?

The four other forwards are soupman, goat, shore, and Engvall/Timashov.  I don't think any of those guys are upgrades on the four they have listed there.  What do you propose then?

A) name a good 2nd PP unit; I honestly don't think the league has had one since 2017-18 when Matthews and Nylander were sharing time with Kadri-Marner-JvR

B) Hyman is there for retrieving pucks off misses and having a big butt; he might not have the hands but he is an excellent screen and disruptor

C) those two guys were regular scratches because they weren't as good as our fully healthy top 9 at offense and not as good as our bottom 3 at defense, NOT because they're not good at hockey

Petan and Spezza have developed an easy chemistry because they're both skilled puck facilitators, and PP is kind of the best time to use that.

Souperman should get a shot and I would throw Engvall in the mix. He's an offensive player with the Marlies and a big body. How about leaving Matthews out for at least 1:30 of it? OV does that minimum in Wash.

Teased us with Rielly-Holl but didn't go for it in game.  Well at least Barrie is on the 3rd pair, maybe he can get some confidence playing against weaker competition?  I mean could it get any worse?

Yes if Rielly keeps getting scored on. Honestly I'm more concerned about his defensive play and that pairing.

Probably using a full face shield.

I thought it wouldn't be too long. If the facial/dental problem was really bad, I think it wouldn't have gotten unnoticed for as long as it did.
