Eh, I'd guess Western Conference teams feel hard done enough by the schedule.

*checks opposing weather forecasts*

Yeah they can bite me.

20 degree Januaries breed weak moral fiber.

I thought, "What the hell is he talking about?"  Then I realized you guys are on Celsius.  NOT US, by God.

Crazy that LA has 10 overtime losses, considering who's in net.

I think this 4-game trip will help sort out whether the past 2 games are an aberration, or whether there really is a change in system, buy-in, or whatever the buzzword is this week.  I'm torn, but I think the Leafs win 4-2 and keep the Kings under 30 shots.

I was going to use Farenheit but then I remembered that I wasn't writing the Poor Richard's Almanac of 1756.

At this point I'm really starting to think Quick is fairly overrated.

I agree. He has the one excellent season, but, outside after that, he's been pretty average, statistically.

Us, and the rest of the world. Time for you guys to catch up.

Changed when I was about 18, I can think in both but for some reason prefer F.
I love to say it is 75F instead of 23.8889C.

Heh.  We march on, secure in the superiority of not slavishly following common sense and international standards.  Give me liberty, or give me a Lexus.

And comparing him to the league is one thing but over the last three years the Kings have gotten a .911 save percentage out of him and a .926 with Jones, Scrivens or Bernier in net. Even if you factor in the playoffs over that span Quick's .920 post-season save percentage bumps him to .914.

So, essentially, Los Angeles has a really good defense.

This road trip is going to be a serious trial by fire for the roster under Horachek. Could have a significant impact on moves made at the deadline and after the season.

Could have a significant impact on my work performance in the morning as well...
